Goal Setting Worksheet
The first step in goal setting is to clearly define the goal you are seeking to achieve.
The What...
Be as clear and specific as you can. Instead of saying I want to make more money, state
the amount, where it is coming from, and when it will happen...I want to make $100k in
passive income from single family real estate rentals in the coming 12 months.
1. What is the goal you want to achieve?
The Why...
Goals are more easily achieved if you have an emotional connection to them. Identifying
your “why” for achieving your goal, will help you find the emotional connection you
have with it.
Example: I want to lose 15 pounds so my clothes fit and look better on me.
So if your clothes fit and look better on you, how will you feel?
Example: I will feel healthier, feel more in shape, and feel more confident in my
presence with others.
You have identified your why with how it will make you feel...the emotional connection
