Goal achievement is measured by our GAIN.

The GAIN is how far you have come since you started. It lets you see the progress you have made.

The GAIN gives us fuel and energy to keep going, to take that next step.

Goal direction and course is determined by our GAP.

The GAP is the distance from where we are now to the end point we want to achieve.

The GAP serves as the roadmap and guide to keep us going in the right direction.

  • We measure our progress using the GAIN.
  • We follow our course, and shoot for our target using the GAP.

If you are measuring your progress by the GAP and feel overwhelmed, discouraged, or hopeless, try shifting your focus to the GAIN you have made.

Focusing on your GAIN keeps you positive, energized, and in control of the journey ahead.

How does that feel, and what does the journey look like from this place?
