Which place do you find yourself today men?

  • In a Box

Your world is tightly defined by known sides. Above, below, and all around you there are barriers that you do not question or cross. Questions of possibilities outside the known boundaries are discounted, discouraged, or denied.

What might happen if you asked yourself where the definitions of the sides of the box came from? Whose ideals and values created the box you are in, yours or someone else’s?

Is the box serving your life in the way you want to be living now?

  • Around a Tree

Often times we continue around the same tree until the lesson is learned. Over time the path around the tree becomes a rut. What lesson are you ignoring? What rut have you created?

What might you be doing with your life if you chose to act on the lesson presented? In what directions would that move you out of the rut?

  • On a Path

The path varies. Sometimes it is well worn from the footsteps of others before us. Other times it is not well defined, requiring careful thought and decision making in our way forward. Sometimes it takes unexpected turns leading to unfamiliar places.

The path can be an easy walk; it can be a hard climb. It can meander and it can be straight. If we choose to follow it, the path always leads us forward.

Along the path there will be boxes to sit in. Maybe we choose this from our own fear, or maybe we allow it to be thrust upon us by others. Trees will line the way of the path. We may find one to walk around, again and again, creating a rut that keeps us from the path.

A box, a tree, or a path. The choice is always our own. What are you choosing today men?
